Mr．Wu Feng, professor of surgery, doctor of physics and tutor of masters, serves as the director of the Tumour Therapeutic Center in the 2nd Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, who jointly invented the first HIFU in the world with Professor Wang Zhibiao. He is also one of the subcommittee for Biological Effectiveness of China Medical Ultrasound Engineering Committee.
He has accomplished the “National Breakthrough Programs of the Ninth five–year”, National Torch Programs and the Key Programs of Nature and Science Foundation of China. In 2000, he was honored with National Second Prize for Technical Innovation.
